Description of Lesson

In this lesson students will be able to understand and identify the Mythology, Historical context,
and how it effected the culture around them.

1.3 Identify Greek, Roman, and Norse mythology and use the knowledge to understand the ori-
gin and meaning of new words as a basis for understanding this concept:
a. Discussing the differences and similarities between each

Instructional Objectives
A successful student will be able to:
1. Define Mythology and how each is different.
2. Know an overview of Greek, Roman, and Norse Mythology and the Gods and Goddesses
within.

1. Introduce the overall concept of Mythology


2. Introduce the similarities and differences between Greek and Roman Mythology
3. Discuss the gods within the Greek and Roman mythology
4. Introduce the Norse Mythology and discuss the gods within
5. Start the quiz and matching activity
