Dear Admissions Committee,

I have had the extreme pleasure of having Brianna King as a student for the past few years at LAUSD/USC
Media Arts and Engineering Magnet. Brianna was in my 9th and 11th grade English classes as well as my AVID
class. Throughout the years I have had her as a student, she has always proven herself to be an extremely bright
and well-rounded individual who cares strongly for her community exhibiting the communication skills
necessary for success in both an academic and professional setting.

As Brianna has always been committed to her academics, she has exhibited a passion to be a vital part of the
larger community. Throughout her years in high school she has volunteered at various organizations including
her local library, park, and film organization. Currently, she is an intern at Planned Parenthood. Brianna also is
committed to her church where she is an active member of her church choir and meets for choir practice on a
weekly basis. Brianna has also participated in outings with her church involving feeding the homeless
throughout different parts of the year. Her extracurricular activities also include being a first base player for her
high school softball team.

Brianna is an exceptional individual who I strongly recommend to your program. I know that she will be a great
addition to your academic community and will offer to it as much as she has offered to the community she is a
part of now. It has always been a pleasure to have her as a student because of her positive nature and
willingness to always learn new concepts and skills, and I am confident that she will fully benefit from the
