Dear Kathy Heyd:

I am a current graduate of Lake Area Technical Institute in Watertown, South Dakota from the
Human Services Technician with Early Childhood Development Option. I am looking to apply
for the supervisor’s position, which I heard about from one of your daycare families. This
position fits with my education training that I received.
This position will allow me the ability to use my experience, love of children, and knowledge of
learning concepts on an everyday basis. My creativity will help come up with great activities that
will be beneficial for children growth and development. I enjoy teaching little kids the letters,
numbers, and songs. I also like conducting little programs that the kids can perform in front of
their parents to show how much they have improved throughout the years.
