36th ARYABHATTA INTER-SCHOOL MATHEMATICS COMPETITION: 2019

TO BE HELD ON SATURDAY, 2nd FEBRUARY, 2019

CLASS V, CLASS VIII & CLASS XI
RULES & REGULATIONS

1. Each participant should carry the Identity Card of their school and the printout of the
Roll No. Form generated online after verification of the fee paid.
2. Duration of the competition will be 02 hours (10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.).
3. Reporting time for the participants is 09:00 a.m.
4. The number of participants for Team from each school should be TEN.
5. Only one team of 10 participants from each school can compete for the trophy for each
of the Class V, Class VIII and Class XI.
6. If a school sends an entry for less than 10 participants, they will be treated as individual
entries and will be entitled for individual prizes only.
7. Position will be granted to the school only if the entire team of 10 participants appears
in the competition.
8. The Rolling Trophy for the competition will be awarded to the schools with First &
Second highest average percentage of all TEN students. In case of a tie, the trophy shall
be shared by the schools.
9. The host School (Summer Fields School, Kailash Colony, New Delhi) will not
compete for the trophy. Its participants will be eligible for individual prizes only.
10. Results will be declared on 15.02.2019 The result can be seen on the website:

11. It shall be the responsibility of the Winning School to arrange to send back the trophy to
the office of the Principal, Summer Fields School, Kailash Colony, New Delhi latest by
24th Dec, 2019 (02:00 p.m.). During this period the winning school will be responsible
for the maintenance & safe custody of the trophy.
12. The schools have to submit the data online by 11th January, 2019. The down loaded list
of participants with Demand Draft may be submitted in the Office of the Principal
between 09:00am to 02:00 pm on all working days, latest by Friday, 18th January,
2019 (02:00 p.m.). No entry will be accepted after 18th January, 2019.
13. The names sent by the school shall be treated as Final & No change shall be allowed
thereafter.
14. Outstation candidates have to make their own Boarding and Lodging
arrangements.
