Today, we’ll explain the festivals that Taunton brings, the events that they
do, the temperature of the days and more.

WHERE IS IT?

All of the festivals that we explain are in Taunton, Somerset.

SOMERFEST

Somerfest is one of the festivals that Taunton brings. Between 11.00am

and 10.00pm you can join a packed programme of spectacular.

A free event full of music, dance, circus, performances, sports, arts and
crafts, food markets.

WHERE IS IT CELEBRATED?

Somerfest is celebrated in Taunton town centre.

CLIMATE

The Sunday 18th of June the temperature is:

The Day Temperature is in 28°C or 16°C

The Night Temperature is in 22°C or 13°C

SHOWS

Fuseperformance brings a festival line-up in Taunton with shows in Castle

Green, High Street, Goodlands Gardens and around the Brewhouse
Theatre.

CASTLE GREEN

It brings circus and sports, arts and crafts, music and festival food
throughout the day.

TAUNTON CARNIVAL

The Taunton Carnival route is over 1.5 miles long and features stunning
illuminated floats walking entries with lights, glitz and glam.

Every year, there are more illuminated floats.

WHERE IS IT CELEBRATED?

Taunton Carnival is celebrated in Fore Street.

CLIMATE

The Saturday 15th of October the temperature is:

The Day Temperature is in 17°C or 16°C

The Night Temperature is in 10°C or 6°C

FESTIVAL OF THE ARTS

The festival exists to encourage and promote the performance and

enjoyment of arts. Aiming particularly, at young people it provides a
challenge and a unique opportunity.
WHERE IS IT CELEBRATED?

The four festivals are celebrated in Queens College, Trull Road.

CLIMATE

The Sunday 6th of November the temperature is:

The Day Temperature is in 14°C or 12°C

The Night Temperature is in 5°C or 2°C

CLASSES

Music classes are held in piano, strings woodwind, brass, recorders,

composition and vocal.

Drama classes include verse speaking, prepared reading, public

speaking, mime and acting.

Dance classes include Classical, Cabaret, Ballet, Character, Modern,

Tap, Song & Dance, Lyrical and Choreography.

Festival Film has also been introduced.
