Recipe - Tiramisu

Ingredients

1. Mascarpone 500g (Cheese section)


2. Sponge fingers 1 pack (Biscuits section)
3. Instant coffee mixture 3 teaspoons
4. Kahlua coffee liquor (Or Bailey’s Irish Cream) 4-10 teaspoons (to taste)
5. Cocoa powder (Hershey’s / Cadbury’s)
6. Egg yolk x4, beaten
7. Sugar 4 tablespoons

Method

1. Whip mascarpone with 4 egg yolks and 4 tablespoons of sugar


2. Make 1 cup of thick coffee black for the first layer
3. Make 1 cup of thick coffee black and add Kahlua for the second layer
4. Place the cups of coffee in bowls of approximately 12 cm diameter to enable soaking of sponge
fingers
5. Dip sponge fingers one by one in plain coffee and place them in casserole dish
6. Spread mascarpone mix over the first layer of sponge fingers
7. Dust a layer of cocoa powder using sift
8. Dip sponge fingers one by one in liquored coffee and place them in casserole dish
9. Spread mascarpone mix over the second layer of sponge fingers
10. Dust a later of cocoa powder
11. Chill for at least 15 minutes
