What´s the weather?
Draw illustrations on the board that portray different kinds of weather. Under each
illustration write the word or phrase that describes the weather being depicted:
cloudy, partly, sunny, sunny rainy, windy, calm, stormy, snowy.
Next, point at each illustration and pronounce the accompanying word. Then have the
class as a whole repeat the word and have individual students repeat it. Go through
each word in turn.
When the students have had enough practice with the new terms, erase the terms.
Point to each illustration in turn and ask, “What’s the weather?
