INTRODUCTION
In this 21st century, social media is widely known in different places around the
world. However, most of the students or also known as the teenagers are consider as the
primary users for any purposes. Most of them use any online platforms to communicate
and for school purposes like assignments project research and etc. But also, in using
internet students are also prone with its bad effects including their behaviour and also in
we can instantly be aware of different issues around the world. In fact, active social media
users using mobile platform moved to 30 percent or another 581 million people. According
to survey, Philippines is one of the most country spent their time on social media.
On the other hand, the purpose of our research is to describe the situation of one

1. Summary of Participants
1.1
Jomari Manalo is a resident at Sitio Site, Laiya-Aplaya, San Juan, Batangas His
father is Joseph Manalo and his mother is Malou Manalo. He finished junior high school
at Laiya Aplaya National High School. He transferred at Laiya National High School
when he entered Senior High School. He is 17 years old. He took the strand of
HUMMS.
According to Mr.Jomari Manalo the socia media platform that he has are
Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Melon. Based on him he using these platforms help
social media platforms he can post pictures and also helps him to express his opinions.
The social media activities he usually do are posting and tweeting for Twitter. Mr.
Manalo tells that during weekdays he use social media for six hours while during
Mr. Manalo tells that using social media influences performance. Sometimes
when he use it, he cannot finish his school works. Despite of it he still an honor student.
His social life does not influences by using social media. He still has time to interact with
his family and friends. Based on him, he is more comfortable to interact in person than
online.
Based on him there is no changes the way he interact to others. In terms of
school performance, he got a low score in a quiz because he did not review because of
using social media. On the whole, for him social media has advantages to him. It helps
