Deepwater Pile Dredge

Dredging Deeper than Ever Before

The Oceaneering Deepwater Pile

Dredge is an electrically-driven
system with pumps that provide
water jetting and suction to
excavate piles at any depth. The
jetting provides a 360° pattern to
fluidize the soil inside the pile,
and then suction pumps remove
the soil from the pile.

FEATURES

Rated up to 10,000 ft depth

Soil removal capacity up to 3,200 gpm

Jetting capacity up to 1,700 gpm at 100 psi

Deepwater Pile Dredge
Dredging Deeper than Ever Before

The Deepwater Pile Dredge is a deep sea dredging system that utilizes a Subsea Hydraulic Power
Unit (SHPU) to power the suction and high volume centrifugal pumps. The SHPU contains two electric
motors that power hydraulic pumps providing pressure and flow to the hydraulic system. There are
three hydraulic motors that are powered which drive the centrifugal pumps. Two of the centrifugal
pumps extract soil and debris from the pile, and the third pump provides high pressure water for the
jetting operations.
