Please see below the Interlock test result update regarding with fans (Red marking):
Simulate two FG duct pressure measurements after ESP to -56 mbar and increase SA or PA flow.
Check:
- ID fan IGV should stay in position, furnace pressure should increase.
When SAF Stop/ Trip, PAF will stop automatically (PAF Outlet still open, only IGV gradually close).
When Duct pressure after ESP increase up to – 56 mbar. Both of IDF IGVs will stay in last position. If
Duct pressure after ESP still raised up to – 61 mbar, both of IDF automatically stop.
Then stop the remaining ID fan (simulate black out). Check: All FD fans should trip
- PA IGV should close, SA and ID IGV should remain in position and ID fan outlet damper
open.
When the last IDF stop, Outlet MOV will stay open.
When all fans are in operation, stop PA and SA fan simultaneously (simulate high furnace
pressure trip). You can increase furnace pressure before stopping the fans for avoiding huge
under pressure in FG duct. Check:
- SA fan IGV should now be left in current position, not closed.
- ID fan IGVs should go immediately to 0% and then continue control the furnace pressure.
- Positive result is that ID fans are not tripped due to under pressure and furnace pressure
fluctuation settles.
When Furnace pressure increase up to + 31 mbar, ID Fan IGVs immediately open to maintain
pressure.
When Furnace pressure increase up to + 35 mbar, PAF and SAF stop automatically. Both of ID Fan
not trip and IGVs immediately go to 0 %
- SAF IGV will stay in last position (Control will change from Auto to Manual).
- PAF IGV Control will change from Auto to Manual and immediately go to 0 %.
