214, Richmond, Virginia 23223; (804) 297-6316.
Our newspaper is an independently owned, monthly (complimentary)
GOOD NEWSpaper, which initially launched in September 2014 by
Deone “Flavor” McWilliams, CEO, who at the time had only $22.00
after leaving Corporate America… LEAP OF FAITH! Northside Vibes
launches on the 1st Friday of each month (occasional delays due to holi-
days and inclement weather). To-date, we have over 100,000 readers
locally and worldwide, including Southeast Asia, Italy, Cambodia,
Spain, Japan, and South Africa! To view our electronic version, visit
www.scribd.com (search Northside Vibes) and website: www.north
sidevibes.org.
Mission: From the outset, Deone envisioned Northside Vibes becoming
a unique publication that would be an integral part of many communi-
ties—a publication for everyone to enjoy! She passionately creates in-
formative newspapers that people identify with, take pride in, and serve
to bridge the different segments of “all” communities. As Flavor News
is unable to publish everyone’s story, our intentions are always good.
For information regarding affordable ad rates, please send an email to

All opinions expressed in Northside Vibes are not necessarily representative of
the views held by the editorial staff. No part of this publication may be repro-
duced or transmitted in any form without prior written permission from the com-
pany, Flavor News. Permission is deemed valid if approval is in writing--only.

Our Next Publication Launches on Friday, February 1, 2019

HONORING MY MOTHER…
HAPPY 80th Rose Brown-Jones!
Dear Mother: You are one phenomenal woman; and I thank God for
Blessing you to see your 80th Birthday! Yes, on January 21st we both
will share another birthday and I couldn’t think of a better person I’d
like to celebrate! Our family has been faced with so many adversities to
include 7 deaths in 1 year, not to mention losing my son just 2 years ago
(January 6, 2017). For so many years I wondered why you never took
time for yourself—but after having the opportunity to sit down and con-
verse with you about your dreams and aspirations, I learned that you ne-
ver “had” time because you were so busy making sure “we were ok”.
Wow! What a major sacrifice you’ve made throughout the years and
that’s why God has kept you here with us. THANK YOU LORD!!!
MOTHER, WE ALL LOVE YOU! THANK YOU FOR SHARING
