SEMI DETAILED LESSON PLAN IN MUSIC 7

I. OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the lesson the students are expected to:
a. identify the different kind of notes ;
b. sing the notes according to its corresponding time value.

II. SUBJECT MATTER

TOPIC: music of low lands of luzon
REFERENCE: Music and Arts 7 page 5
MATERIALS: visual aids, picture and book
III. PROCEDURE
a. Preliminary
Prayer
Greetings
Checking of attendance
b. Motivation
Let the students to sing a particular song
c. Presentation
Ask the students about their observation while singing the song the song and present
the topic.
d. Discussion
Discuss the different kind of notes and its corresponding time value.
e. Generalization
Ask the students to enumerate the different kind of notes and give example on how to
sing according to its corresponding time duration.
f. Application
Divide the class into five groups for the activity.
Ask them to sing the notes with its corresponding time value.
IV. EVALUATION
1. Enumerate the different kind of notes write its corresponding time value.

V. ASSIGNMENT
Bring any improvise instruments that can be used in producing good sound.
