GUIDELINES FOR DICIDING SEVERITY RATING


1 No effect/ Trivial
2 Fatal Where Death is imminent or certain or Total Permanently disability
can take place. There is total loss of the Plant
3 Extremely Where there Partial Permanent disablement can take place .or
Harmful : there could be reversible health effect . Amputation ,major
fractures, poisoning,occupational cancer, other severely life
threatening diseases can occur.
4 Harmful: Laceration ,burns, contusion,serious sprains,minor
fracture,dermatitis,asthma,work related limb disorders,lll health leading to
permanent minor disability.
5 Slightly Harmful: Superficial injuries minor cuts,eye irritation temporary
discomfort. For property damage it is more then 10 thousand but less then one
lac.
