r MID: 265636 INITIATED: 11/19/1987
PATTI was very active in Zeta Rho Chapter and was particularly involved with the “Books for Babes”
Project. Her mother, Zella Bullok, left a bequeath to the project. Patti was a very positive force in our
Chapter and is sorely missed. The following is her OBIT from Lodi News-Sentinel, June 20, 2018.

education at Occidental College to become a teacher. She taught in Pacific Grove

and Delta Tule Woolies where she enjoyed meeting with her knitting friends on

STATEMENT to the fullest. She had a smile and a kind word for everyone, A wonderful sense of
DKG California – humor and a memory like a steel trap. Patti was always on the go with her friends
Educational – Professional – Making an Impact and family. She would say "give me 10 minutes to get my shoes on and I'll be ready
to go." She was involved in charitable works, enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading,
DKG CALIFORNIA rooting for the San Francisco Giants, watching and feeding the birds in her yard and
BIENNIUM THEME wearing unique jewelry. The thing that Patty enjoyed the most was spending time

Making It Happen – with her grandkids, she very rarely missed an event that they were involved in. Patti
Together! is survived by her children Jim Schmidt, Diana Stellato Weaver (Rick),
grandchildren Dominic and Gianna Stellato. Bonus grandchildren Diana Haigh

Bullok, Daughter-in-law Gloria Schmidt and sister at heart Lois Borchardt. Patti
will be missed by all. She was truly a unique and wonderful woman.

Honor Award for Community Service posthumously for inspiration to the Chapter

Scientists”
was the Theme of our
entry in the
“Festival of Trees”
Members of Zeta Rho donated
supplies requested by UC
Davis Scientist Brianna Rocha
Gregg and used them to
decorate a tree in the San
Joaquin Historical Society’s
annual :Festival, of Trees”.
Brianna will be presented with
the supplies at our meeting on
January 3rd. She will give them
to students to help them be able
to participate in the Science
Olympiad.

Roberta McDow was a member of Zeta Rho Chapter until they moved to North
Carolina. She was a registered Parliamentarian, a bright and interesting member of our
Chapter during my early membership days. I had often wondered where she was living.
This answered my question.
