Child Trafficking in India

Child trafficking is an immense major problem in the world, that cannot be solved.
Currently, we can see it often on television, newspaper or social media. India, has a high
quantity of child trafficking in the world.
A complex phenomenon in the world would be child trafficking. The word 'child' means a
person under age of 18. And the word 'Traffic' usually means trade but almost in an illegal ways
as in drugs. In an article by,Academia's website it said that, in a simple term of child trafficking, it
means that it is a force of child to do laboring, selling sex, ransoming, or begging. India, a
country known of crowded city and crime and child trafficking included. This phenomenon comes
from many sauces, either by tricks, weak law, or poverty. One of the reason why India has such
a huge number of trafficking is because there are high rate number of unemployment in
India,so some people they reform themselves into a trafficker to earn more income. Refer to the
2016 report. In 2016, almost over 9,104 victims were being trafficked. And everyday's average,
174 children were missing. Many websites like Academia, said that 2016 has a highest number
of child trafficking among other years. Wikipedia's website reports that, the most average activity
of child trafficking is selling sex. Even though, they are under 18 but as long as they are still
under the trafficker's force, they are forced to do it . Otherwise, they will get punished.
If children in your family become a victim in child trafficking, what will you do ? Will you only
report it to the police and wait? Or will you find solutions that can protect your children? Children
are under your responsibility and if you put more focus and take care of them, there would be
less number of child being trafficked.
