Installation Guide

IMPORTANT NOTE: this download contains the base game of 'The Sims 2' as well as all
expansions and stuffpacks released for that game.
Keep in mind that this compilation is recommended to be used in its entirety; that
means you should install all included game
components, and in the exact order that is described in this guide. We CANNOT
guarantee that the game
or the installation will work (fine), if you either skip a particular step, or mix
up steps.

Also note that whenever you are getting a message at the end of installing an
expansion, that prompts you to
"make sure that a disc is inserted", just click on OK, and proceed with the rest of
the steps in the guide.

In case you are wondering, the "Double-Deluxe" edition of the Sims 2 base game
already includes the "Nighlife"-expansion and the
"Celebrations"-stuffpack. Hence the instructions for them are "missing" here.

Take your time for reading through this guide.

01. Make sure to open the .RAR of this download with the program "WinRAR" only, in
order to avoid any data corruption. You can get WinRAR here:
https://games4theworld.org/downloads.html

02. Once you opened the download in WinRAR, extract the folder named "The Sims 2 -
Complete Collection" to any location on your computer.
You can simply drag and drop the folder out, from WinRAR.

03. Once the folder is extracted, navigate inside the subfolder "The Sims 2 (Base
game) - Double Deluxe Edition". Use the Autorun.exe to start
the installation. When prompted for a serial number, use the following: U6F7-
98Q6-UKNC-CXNF-MZMW. Follow through with the
on-screen instructions.

04. Go back to the folder overview in the download. Now navigate inside the
subfolder "The Sims 2 (EP1) - University". Use again the Autorun.exe
to start the installation. Use this serial: WCR9-HQXH-6WQL-5L78-7NRD. And do the
rest of the on-screen steps.
05. Go back to the folder overview in the download. Now navigate inside the
subfolder "The Sims 2 (EP3) - Open for business". Use again the
Autorun.exe to start the installation. Insert this serial: U53K-WDTY-6RQA-2RB4-
S5E7. And do the rest of the on-screen steps. Once you installed
this pack, go inside the "#Patch"-folder, inside Open for business. Double-click
on the Patch 1.exe file first, and
follow the on-screen prompts. After the update is finished, repeat the same with
the Patch 2.exe.

06. Go back to the folder overview in the download. Now navigate inside the
subfolder "The Sims 2 (EP4) - Pets". Use again the
Autorun.exe to start the installation. Insert this serial: XLYY-SW4F-TQA4-RJ8L-
PAC4. And do the rest of the on-screen steps. Once you installed
this pack, go inside the "#Patch"-folder, inside Pets. Double-click on the Patch
1.exe file first, and
follow the on-screen prompts. After the update is finished, repeat the same with
the Patch 2.exe.

07. Go back to the folder overview in the download. Now navigate inside the
subfolder "The Sims 2 (EP5) - Seasons". Use again the
Autorun.exe to start the installation. Insert this serial: NGTB-NCU2-8U65-LXYZ-
ZAYW. And do the rest of the on-screen steps. Once you installed
this pack, go inside the "#Patch"-folder, inside Seasons. Double-click on the
Patch 1.exe file first, and
follow the on-screen prompts. After the update is finished, repeat the same,
with the Patch 2.exe and the Patch 3.exe respectively.

08. Go back to the folder overview in the download. Now navigate inside the
subfolder "The Sims 2 (EP6) - Bon Voyage". Use again the
Autorun.exe to start the installation. Insert this serial: SMUL-E5WM-UHRW-J6M3-
VE9Y. And do the rest of the on-screen steps.
Once you installed this pack, go inside the "#Patch"-folder, inside Bon Voyage.
Double-click on the Patch 1.exe file first, and
follow the on-screen prompts. After the update is finished, please double-click
on the Patch 2.exe file and follow again the on-screen
prompts.

09. Go back to the folder overview in the download. Now navigate inside the
subfolder "The Sims 2 (EP7) - Free Time". Use again the
Autorun.exe to start the installation. Insert this serial: XEQ8-QP5M-QXTY-SL4X-
SHZ3. And do the rest of the on-screen steps. Once you installed
this pack, go inside the "#Patch"-folder, inside Free Time. Double-click on the
Patch 1.exe file first, and
follow the on-screen prompts. After the update is finished, repeat the same,
with the Patch 2.exe and the Patch 3.exe respectively.

10. Go back to the folder overview in the download. Now navigate inside the
subfolder "The Sims 2 (EP8) - Apartment Life". Use again the
Autorun.exe to start the installation. Insert this serial: MRVM-RNS6-BA7L-WBZ3-
YEY7. And do the rest of the on-screen steps. Once you installed
this pack, go inside the "#Patch"-folder, inside Apartment Life. Double-click on
the Patch 1.exe file first, and
follow the on-screen prompts. After the update is finished, repeat the same with
the Patch 2.exe.

11. Go back to the folder overview in the download. Now navigate inside the
subfolder "The Sims 2 (SP1) - Family Fun Stuff". Use the
Autorun.exe to start the installation. Insert this serial: ZM55-SJPG-MFMP-L5CG-
DBY9. And do the rest of the on-screen steps.

12. Go back to the folder overview in the download. Now navigate inside the
subfolder "The Sims 2 (SP2) - Glamour Life Stuff". Use the
Autorun.exe to start the installation. Insert this serial: DFRH-2B47-CPTJ-DNVW-
B49W. And do the rest of the on-screen steps.

13. Go back to the folder overview in the download. Now navigate inside the
subfolder "The Sims 2 (SP3) - Happy Holiday Stuff". Use the
Setup.exe to start the installation. No serial number is needed here; follow the
on-screen instructions.

14. Go back to the folder overview in the download. Now navigate inside the
subfolder "The Sims 2 (SP5) - H&M Fashion Stuff". Use the
Autorun.exe to start the installation. Insert this serial: CL7F-SQE2-5UHL-CNXB-
XA3T. And do the rest of the on-screen steps.

15. Go back to the folder overview in the download. Now navigate inside the
subfolder "The Sims 2 (SP6) - Teen Style Stuff". Use the
Autorun.exe to start the installation. Insert this serial: W59Z-6SP8-H827-ECE7-
G9KX. And do the rest of the on-screen steps.

16. Go back to the folder overview in the download. Now navigate inside the
subfolder "The Sims 2 (SP7) - Kitchen & Bath Interior Design
Stuff". Use the Autorun.exe to start the installation. Insert this serial:
5W6E-XEU2-L346-5ZUS-XZPK. And do the rest of the on-screen steps.

17. Go back to the folder overview in the download. Now navigate inside the
subfolder "The Sims 2 (SP8) - IKEA Home Stuff". Use the
Autorun.exe to start the installation. Insert this serial: RACC-F9Q5-FYWZ-8J2P-
UQJ8. And do the rest of the on-screen steps.

18. Go back to the folder overview in the download. Now navigate inside the
subfolder "The Sims 2 (SP9) - Mansion and Garden Stuff". Use the
Autorun.exe to start the installation. Insert this serial: 9FKK-SKKL-CMUN-WCMM-
SRLD. And do the rest of the on-screen steps.

19. Inside the folder "The Sims 2 (SP10) - Mansion and Garden Stuff", there is a
"#Crack"-folder. Go inside it an copy the file named
"Sims2EP9".exe. Paste it into the location where you installed the "Mansion and
Garden"-stuffpack, typically in
C:\Program files(x86)\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Mansion and Garden Stuff\TSBin. When
prompted, please select "copy and replace" or
 "replace file(s) in the destination". After that, you should make a shortcut to
the desktop, from this Sims2EP9.exe file. Use only that
shortcut to start the game !

20. Note that upon the very first startup of the game, it may take a little while
to actually load into the playing world.

21. Enjoy the game !
