in the advertisement to complete the numbered gaps in the email. Use ONE or TWO
words for each gap. Remember that the words you need are informal synonyms of the
ones in the advertisement.
b) Translate the formal text into Romanian.

JOB ADVERTISEMENT
Sales Executive Required
Bell Labs Engineering requires a sales executive for six months to take over from Sally
Raynes, who will be in charge of the Hong Kong office for this period. The successful
applicant will have a university degree in Business Studies, and also have an excellent
command of Spanish. He or she will head a group of eight, and an extensive track record of
working at team-leader level is essential. The person will be responsible for day-to-day liaison
with our Spanish offices; in addition, the job involves twice-monthly travel to the Madrid
office. Salary is negotiable. Normal company benefits – personnel canteen, company car and
travel expenses – will apply.
Applicants should note that a permanent post in the sales department is to be advertised in
three months’ time.
