L’inserimento nel sistema di un file 3D del
gioiello in formato standard .STL, dà il via
al procedi­mento di fusione selettiva laser
della polvere di metalli preziosi e non, quali:
oro, argento, bronzo, cromo-cobalto, platino,
palladio, titanio, acciaio, ecc.
E’ l’inizio di un processo che elude tutti i lunghi
e laboriosi passaggi tradizionali, creando
direttamente l’oggetto finito.
