LEARNING OBJECTIVES By the end of this lesson, pupils will be able to :
1. transfer information from a text to complete an invitation.
2. write an invitation for school sports day with guidance.
TEACHING & LEARNING 1. Teacher asks pupils to brainstorm on types of invitations they have seen.
ACTIVITIES 2. Pupils respond to the teacher.
3. Teacher refers to textbook page 6 and reads the text.
4. Teacher explains he text.
5. Pupils transfer information from a text to complete an invitation with guidance.
6. Teacher checks the answers.
7. Pupils write an invitation card for school sports day.
8. Teacher guides the pupils to write the invitation.
