The rubric outlines requirements for a 3D model of the Solar System project, including representing planets in proper order and labeling them (30 pts), a creative and neat presentation (10 pts), and attaching or including a list of key information about each planet such as distance from the sun and earth, rotation and revolution times, diameter, gravity, atmosphere, temperature, moons and rings, travel time from Earth, and fun facts (50 pts). Students will also be graded on effort and quality of work (10 pts) for a total of 100 points.

Directions: You are to make a 3D model of the Solar
System. This project should include the following:
*Representations of Planets within the Solar System
-Planets should be neatly labeled & placed in proper order-30 Pts. -Project should be creative & neatly put together- -10 Pts.
*Each Planet should have attached or include a list of the
following information: -Distance from Sun -Distance from Earth -How long does it take to rotate on axis -How long does it take to revolve around the Sun -Diameter -Gravity compared to the Earth -Atmosphere (Does it have one and what is it made of?) -Temperature -Rings? Moons? (Name them) -Travel time from Earth -Any fun facts you can find -50 Pts.
*Each project should show Effort and Quality -10 Pts.
