Incident Summary

At around 15:00 hrs and while sitting inside the control room, a huge
explosion sound was hear from outside. When went out, an asphalt truck was
found in contact with the 115 KV line and huge damage was noticed on that
power line as well as the truck itself.

When investigated the situation, it was found that the truck driver dumped the
asphalt and moved directly while the backside container of the truck was still
in the vertical position. The truck moved and hit the 115 KV line. The below
photos explain the incident.

Important Important ….
The first person reached the location of the incident was Anwar Al-Mushqab.
Anwar noticed that the driver is still inside the truck in panic condition. Anwar
instructed the driver not to touch any metal part of the truck to avoid any
discharge thought his body. Then, he instructed the driver to jump from the
seat of the truck to the outside ground. By that, Anwar saved the live of the
driver which is a great action.
