Agreement to Borrow Equipment and Release of Liability

We, Group 8 Researchers of STEM 222, are borrowing the following equipment
from the STI College Lucena Chemistry Laboratory:

We understand that it is our responsibility to pick up the equipment, and to return

it to the same location at the end of our borrowing period unless otherwise agreed by
both parties. We agree to return the equipment to staff of the STI College Lucena
Chemistry laboratory in the same condition that it was received in when we borrowed it.

We understand that there is no charge for use of the equipment. However, in the
event that the equipment is lost or destroyed while in our possession, we agree to cover
any and all costs associated with the replacement of the lost/damaged equipment.

We understand that the STI College Lucena Chemistry Laboratory is not

warranting that the equipment is fit for use or for any particular person, and that we
solely responsible for the selection of the equipment. We understand that the
Laboratory may provide limited assistance with equipment supplied.

We HEREBY RELEASE FROM LIABILITY AND AGREE TO INDEMNIFY AND

HOLD HARMLESS THE STI COLLEGE LUCENA CHEMISTRY LABORATORY AND
ANY OF ITS EMPLOYEES FOR ANY LIABILITY IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OR
POSSESSION OF THE EQUIPMENT. THIS RELEASE IS FOR ANY AND ALL
LIABILITY FOR PERSONAL INJURIES AND PROPERTY LOSSES OR DAMAGE IN
CONNECTION WITH THE POSSESSION OR USE OF THE EQUIPMENT.
