What is your hobby of choice
VIDEO/PHOTO EDITING & GRAPHIC DESIGN

Video/photo editing & graphic design would be my first choice of hobby. A photo
editing will be varies depending on the industry in which they work. All photo editors
generally identify photography needs, assign projects to photographers, review images,
edit and manipulate photos, and approve images for publication and dissemination.
Photo editors often manage multiple staff members and oversee their workloads to
ensure deadlines are met. Photo editors at news agencies can work long hours in order
to meet multiple daily production deadlines. Those employed at magazines or
publishing houses may work more standard business hours, and produce long-form
photo projects such as multi-page photography narratives. A video editing would be
assembling all raw footage, with camera shots either recorded and transferred for
inputting into the computer. Digitally cutting files to put together sequence of the video
and deciding what’s usable. Reordering and fine tuning the content to ensure logical
sequencing and smooth running of the video. Overseeing the quality and progress of
video and audio and editing. Experimenting with styles and techniques including the
design the graphic elements. Produce the simple animation video with application and
software. Suggesting and selecting music. Graphic designing is a combine art and
technology to communicate ideas through images and the layout of websites and printed
pages. They may use a variety of design elements to achieve artistic or decorative
effects. Graphic designing works with both text and images. They often select the type,
font, size, colour, and line length of headlines, headings, and text. Graphic designers
also decide how images and text will go together on a print or webpage, including how
much space each will have. When using text in layouts, graphic designers collaborate
closely with writers who choose the words and decide whether the words will be put
into paragraphs, lists, or tables. Through the use of images, text, and colour, graphic
designers can transform statistical data into visual graphics and diagrams, which can
make complex ideas more accessible. Graphic design is important in the sales and
marketing of products, and is a critical component of brochures and logos. Therefore,
graphic designers, also referred to as graphic artists or communication designers, often
work closely with people in advertising and promotions, public relations, and
marketing. Frequently, designers specialize in a particular category or type of client.
For example, some create the graphics used in packaging for various types of retail
products, while others may work on the visual design used on a book jacket. Graphic
design also has need to keep up to date with the latest software and computer
technologies to remain competitive. Some individuals with a background in graphic
design teach in design schools, colleges, and universities. For more information, see the
profile on postsecondary teachers.
Why you choose that hobby to be you career

Editing the photos video and graphic designing is a wide and marketable
field where one with the right skills can seek career opportunities in web
publishing, marketing and promotions, corporate communications and
other specializations too which can be equally diverse. Moreover, many
people can draw pretty pictures, but not everyone can connect with people
and cause them to act. And this job will help clients target specific
audiences and “talk” to them directly. This means you should have a knack
for what motivates people to make decisions and know how to strike that
chord with the images you create that makes a passion for communicating
with others through powerful, compelling images. Furthermore, it is also
typically more than just a solo effort. Not only do have to work with clients
and employers, but may also need to collaborate with art directors,
advertising managers, copywriters, and other designers. Even in
freelancing, need to learn how to take criticism well, meet deadlines, and
change concepts as your projects evolve. Besides that, graphic design
entails much more than simply matching colours and choosing fun fonts.
Especially if you intend to work freelance, you need to learn the business
aspects of the job, too. This could mean working within a specified budget,
handling invoices, or managing multiple clients. This doesn’t mean that
have to be a business whiz, but having some business or marketing savvy
will help in the long run. Might help to learn new things such as how to use
industry software, Adobe Illustrator®, Photoshop®, Flash®, and
InDesign®, as well as the many other technical aspects of graphic design.
Also need to stay up to date with current graphic arts trends and techniques.
Following successful graphic designers on social media is one way to do
so. In short, this hobby always makes learning new things.
