WHAT DOES THEIR DAY LOOK LIKE?

Depending on whether they work as
freelance designers or for a design
agency, their day may look different.

If they work for a company, it's

essentially the same as any other
office job, except that, unlike a
monotonous desk job, it encourages
people to be more creative
throughout the day. Their workspaces
are also better outfitted with products
and areas that encourage free-flowing
creativity.

As freelancers, their days are more

free. They'll identify a nearby company
or someone who needs a motion
graphic designer to help them build
their portfolio for the future. They also
establish contracts with businesses to
supplement their income.

HOW MUCH MONEY DO THEY MAKE?

This is entirely dependent on where
you obtain employment. A motion
graphic designer at the NBA, for
example, makes a minimum of
$130,000 USD per year; however, if you
are freelancing, your earnings will vary.

CHANGES OR OBSTACLES

There are many challenges that a motion

.... graphics designer will7 have to endure in
everyday working days. This could include
the client changing their design
requirements, your technology not
cooperating with your workflow, or even
the software program being updated and
you could not get the hang of it again.
These are some common obstacles that
Motion Graphic designers face.

You can fix these issues by critically

thinking about how to move forward by
looking at your plan and what things are
similar to the changes made. You can
make a few tweaks to match the criteria
of the client.

Some tougher obstacles to cross come up

when you are stressed or unhappy about
something. You can run out of creativity
some days and would not want to work.
This is a real issue for most artists. It is
hard to find inspiration for your works
sometimes. To deal with this you can go
away from your work setting and go do
something you find enjoyable or relaxing.
After some time you can go back and ask
your friends or the client if the time is
appropriate for some inspiration or some
specifics that need to be in the design.

CHANGES OR OBSTACLES

Looking forward to the motion graphic

designing field, the person should expect
to work with new people all the time.
That is later when you get the job but the
literal first that you should do is go
through your portfolio and make as many
changes as you want to make it very
powerful in order to compete against
other individuals looking for a good
university course or a job opportunity.
Collaborating kindly without making
others feel inferior.

You should also be prepared for people

judging your works and giving critical
comments that sometimes may hurt your
feelings. You need to be able to critically
think about if the feedbacks you are
getting are helping you grow or just
putting you down. If they are just hurting
your feelings it is probably not a good
idea to keep in touch with them. You
need to look out for groups of people
that will inspire you and help you grow
artistically for your future endeavours in
this career. Lastly, some life changes that
a person needs to look out for is getting
un-hired anytime. Companies do not stick
with the same team for their designs if
they do not create designs that they find
interesting.

And remember to sign your works to

avoid plagiarism.
