CHAPTER VII

CONCLUSIONS AND ACTION PLAN

A. Categorical Statement on the Results of the Feasibility Study

The different aspects of the feasibility study yielded successful on different aspects. On the
marketing aspect, there is a big market of organic toothpaste made from coconut oil in Morocco due to
consumer lifestyle changes, health awareness as well as various regulations and encouragements
provided by the government.

On the technical and production aspect, the various and abundant plantations around the
Philippines have the sufficient resources and skills to produce the product due to the richness of coconut
plantations and trees in the provinces. The processes are well thought of, meeting the standards of the
product’s making and surpassing the quality of most available oral care products in the market with the
help of our unique proposition. Quality control will be efficient, so as the other controlling aspects of the
company, making the whole production process easier and reliable.

On the management and Financial aspect, the company staffing structure, and personnel
responsibilities are clearly delineated and aligned with the operational processes. Furthermore, over the
projected five year period of company operations, several significant results were obtained: projected
sales show an increasingly stable growth; payback period can be recovered in a couple of years; the
profitability index is greater than 100%, therefore acceptable; internal rate of return is within the chosen
range, therefore acceptable; and the IRR result is higher than the cost of capital.

On the socio-economic aspect, the project has a significant impact on the economy as it will be
able to contribute to government and personal care related industries revenues, earn foreign currency,
and be able to contribute to community development.

B. Action Plan
Given the above considerations, the proponents consider the proposed business project to be
feasible. Consequently, its immediate implementation is highly recommended. The capability of the
company to produce and transport the product will be guided by this study, taking into consideration all

the advantages of the company against its possible competitors as well. The company will ensure the
quality of its product to pave way for more opportunities in more countries. New and current product
development will also be given priority, for the company to keep up with innovations. The research done
by the company only proves that the product will become effective and will surely be met with sales. The
exportation will also include acts of publication in order for the product to be introduced properly
