This study entitled “Effection of Mobile Games Addiction to Grade 9 students on Bauan Technical High
School” Aimed to determine the effects of addiction on mobile games grade 9 students on Bths.
Addiction of mobile games had been more a problem to some students but also to society, Because
we live in a modern world now, there are lot’s new invention of technology.

And specially many games are created, all that many students put their time on playing
mobile game. The some reach its limitation, student sacrifices their time playing mobile games, than
making their homework not only that some even stay up late and when in class some students sleep at
time of a discussion. These are some of negative effects of mobile games addiction in students.

There are many reasons why students become addicted to mobile games. Researchers says students
release their stress by playing mobile Games, and those students who have mental health issues
common is depression and anxiety, they feel like they’re out of this world and want to be always alone.
One of the reasons of addiction on mobile games.

A. CONTEXT AND RATIONALE

The Mobile Game Addiction Is a growing concern, not here only to Philippines But
to other Global to. The global health agency said classifying “gaming disorder” as a medical
condition would help government and healthcare providers to be more vigilant to identify a risk.
To the users who let Mobile games addiction consume them.

These been a threat to users especially to students that this have an negative effect to them,
As the World Health Organization classifies gaming disorder as mental health condition, New
type of addictive behaviors and distinct from traditional internet games addiction on desktop
computer. As of today Mobile games is a part now of a modern culture rather than simply an
addictive product.

Mobile game addiction has attracted many researcher attention due to its negative effects on
mental health issues. However very few studies have particularly examines the relationship
between mobile games addiction and mental health. Researchers examine the relationship
between mobile games addiction and social anxiety , depression, And loneliness among
adolescents. Because is considered the most trendy and adopted activity followed by kids of
this generation .

They found that mobile games addiction was positively associated with mental health
issues . And further analysis on gender difference in the mobile game addiction , except for the
mental health issues that have a big negative effect to users, but researchers also found out
their other examine and revealed that male adolescents tend to report more social anxiety all
around the Globe, Researchers also discussed limitation and implications for mental health
practices.

Because of the modern life we live in today, the people especially teenagers that have been
addicted to mobile games have been increasing here in the Philippines. The researchers said
that they examined one of the reasons of high increasing of people who addicted to mobile
games. Lots of Filipinos especially teens believe that playing mobile games was positively a
great help for the users who has experiencing depression, social anxiety and loneliness. Some

of the teenagers highly believes that by using apps in mobiles games helps them release their
stress and makes them feel better .With the use of mobile games these helps them to escape
the harsh reality of the word. This is one of common problems and also reasons why the rate
of people who had been addicted to mobile games had been rapidly increasing. This just
shows that most people adolescents to be specific that mobile games addiction have a
conceptually link with an environment that surrounds them.
