Universal Design for Learning (UDL):

T he project requires them to create a video using the gopro, so they have full creativity to present the
information such as subtitles and visual demonstration. The camera also setup to be used very easily, so
the students should not have a difficult time recording.

Lesson idea implementation: The lesson will be toward the end of the semester. The students will choose a
sport of their choice in pairs and make a video. The video will demonstration of the skills need for the sport
and the explanation of the rules. The students have full creativity when it comes to the video as long is it
school appropriate. It should take the students 4 class days to complete( day 1 for research, day 2 for
recording the videos, 3 day for editing video, 4 day for presentation). The students will be assessed by given a
rubric that the video will be graded on; the students will be given feedback on the video as well.

The extended learning is individual research during the process of the 3 days of creating there video
presentation of the sport they chose. The lesson will be concluded by thanking all the students for either
presenting a new sport to the class or further explaining a sport already been discussed. I will provide
feedback on their rubric and after each individual presentation.

Reflective Practice: I feel it can impact the student learning a lot because they can do the project based on a
sport of their choosing and have free creative approach that is school appropriate, so they will have a more
desire to develop a quality project. This lesson is not really intro lesson so there would no be a further
extension of the lesson. Other technologies that can further enhanced the project is the Hudle or Coach’s eye
app.
