Objectives:

On this laboratory experiment, Refrigeration, the purpose is to better understand the cycle of
refrigeration and it is applications. Also, part of the collected data is when the pressure,
thermodynamics properties and temperature at each stage are determined. In addition, the
refrigeration cycle performance is going to be analyzed under various conditions of balanced and
unbalanced loads with a fixed and a variable orifice valve in the operation cycle. Compute and
contrast the refrigeration cycle coefficient of performance (COP) for the actual and ideal cycles,
knowing the heat transfer and the work per unit mass input added by the compressor to the system.
Also the team, will draw the T-s and P-h diagrams for the ideal and actual cycles.
