Issue: Implementation of Reproductive Health Bill

Argumentative Thesis: God created man and woman to multiply and make the world a place to live in.

But come to think of it, as the population rapidly growing bigger and bigger, does the world really

enough for us to live in? Does our country, Philippines, with the space getting smaller, be a place to

settle in?

Background Information: In Philippines, 103.3 million or 1.6% annual growing rate of the population

is being measured by the government. The Senate and the House of Representatives continuously

discussing the implementation of Reproductive Health Bill, which they think can help to lessen the

population in our country. As a youth, I am concern of the continuous growing rate of population

because the bigger the population, the bigger the space needed and other necessities. How can a family

provide these needs if they have many children? If there family continue to grow and one or both of the

parents don’t have job, how can they support their children with their needs and education?

Summary of Counterclaims: Family planning is very vital to secure the basic needs of every young

ones. Implementing this bill will be also significant to control the increasing rate of criminals due to lack

of money, education, and also guidance. Practicality and thinking the possibilities about the future of the

next generation can change our lives. Maintaining the practice of family planning in every household can

secure their needs, education, care, love, and guidance. Parents should provide all the needs of their

children and give their love and care unless they have the capacity to do so.

Conclusion: Therefore, this should be implemented immediately for the sake of Philippines and every

Filipinos living here.
