 To get to the Cable car, take the subway line 4 (light blue)
to the Myeongdong station, take exit 7 or 8 and you will be
in front of an office building/bank. Wait here for the free
shuttle that will take you to the cable car station. See my

information. Ticket prices are 8,000 KRW round trip

Sunday, March 11, 2018  Gyeongbokgung Palace – largest palace in Seoul- Take
subway to Gyeongbokgung Station; Exit 5
 Walk straight and you will see a gate of the palace
 Ticket booths are situated on the corner; just right inside
the Gwanghwamun Gate of the palacewatch guard

 Either one happens every hour between 10am to 4pm at
the Gyeongbokgung Palace, every day except Tuesdays

 Take the shinkansen to Kyoto from Shin-Osaka
 Head over to Higashiyama district to visit: (4-5 hours)
o Kiyomizudera Temple
o Higashiyama District
o Kodaiji Temple
o Kenniji Temple
o Gion District
 Find a place to eat either in Gion district or head over to
Nishiki Market across the river
 Take the train to Arashiyama to visit: (3-4hours)
o Tenryuji (temple)
o Bamboo Groves
o Monkey Park
o Togetsukyo Bridge
 Take the train back to Kyoto, and decide whether or not to
eat in Kyoto or take the train back to Osaka and eat dinner
there.
 Go back to hotel and rest
Saturday, March 17, 2018  Take shinkensen to Himeji (1hr train ride)
 Walk over to Himeji Castle and Kokoen Garden (2-3hours)
 Take the train back to Kobe and find a place to eat
 Explore Kobe Chinatown until the afternoon then take the
train back to Shin Kobe
 Take the bus to Maya Cable Station and make way up to Mt
Maya (Kekushedei) for the view at night
 Afterwards, head back down the mountain and make our
way back into Kobe for some dinner (Or can head back to
Osaka for dinner)
 Then take train back to Osaka to end the day
Sunday, March 18, 2018  Take an early morning train to Hiroshima (90 minute train
ride)
 Take the local bus to visit the Hiroshima Peace Park
 When finished take the boat at Hiroshima Peace Park to
Miyajima (45minute boat ride)
 Places to visit:
o Miyao Castle
o Senjokaku
o The Gate Torii
o Daiganji
o Momijidani Park
o Mt Misen Summit via cable car and an additional
30minute walk
 Take the short boat ride across to Miyajimaguchi and take
the train back to Hiroshima
 Two options, eat dinner at Hiroshima or take the
shinkansen back to Osaka for dinner

Tuesday, March 20, 2018  Take the train to Kyoto
 Take the bus from Kyoto station to Kinkaku-ji Temple (45
minute bus ride)
 Take the bus back to Kyoto and find a place to eat
 After lunch, take the train to Fushimi Inari Shrine to visit
shrines. Can walk up to the Yotsutsuji Intersection mid-
point of the mountain to take photos
 Take the train from Fushimi Inara to Nara Park (1hr train
ride)
 Go see the deer around the area
 Take the train back to Osaka
 Shinshekai for dinner (night time only)
 Take photo of Tsutenkaku Tower in Shinshekai

 Two trains, Chuo Line-Limited Express then Fujikyuko Line
(Approximately 2.5hr train ride)/OR take the bus
 Get off at Shimoyoshida Station and walk up to Chureito
Pagoda
 Take the train from Shimoyoshida Station to Kawaguchiko
station then purchase bus pass and take the bus around
the area and make stops
 Take the train back to Tokyo and chill

 Afterwards, head over to Meiji Shrine across the train
