LIFTING PROCEDURE OF BEAM BY GANTRY CRANE
REQUIREMENTS :
1. The Minimum Capacity for Lifting Gear and Sling is 1.4 times the load lifted.
2. The Lifting Tool is in good condition and the Operator should be using PPE.
3. The Beam Lifting Points should be in good and feasible condition proper to use (Including the material
used and the position of lifting point).
4. The Beam Segment is lifted using prepared lifted point.
5. For Lifting with a Single Hoist using Lifting Beam.
6. The Position of Beam on horizontal flat lifting with slope tolerance of 4 %.

LIFTING PROCEDURE OF BEAM BY CRAWLER CRANE
REQUIREMENTS :

Equipment according to the applicable type of qualification.

REQUIREMENTS :

The beam is placed above the wooden pads at the end point at maximum distance 0.8 metres from the end of the beam.

HANDLING PROCEDURE OF BEAM IN SITE

2. The ground conditions are solid enough to support the weight of the stacked beams / girders.
3. The beam / girder is placed over 2 sleeper concrete, the sleeper concrete can be use by wood or concrete blocks.
4. The beam / girder is positioned vertically and stable with a minimum gap from another beam is minimum 50 cm.
5. The distance from the edge of sleeper concrete to the sidest beam is minimum 30 cm.
6. The Sleeper concrete (wood or concrete block) position is approx . 0.8 metre from both of the edge of beam.
7. Clean the side area of the beams stock yard with the minimum distance is approx. height of the beam + 1 meter.
8. Give the edge retaining (Shooring) at side of the sleeper beams / girders.
