AutoCAD 2012 Installation Instructions

1. To install AutoCAD, insert the AutoCAD disk into

your DVD drive, The disk autoplay should begin. If
it does not, go to My Computer and select Setup
from the disk menu.

In the AutoCAD Installation window, click Install

to start the installation process.

2. In the License Agreement window, select I Accept

and click Next.

3. Select Stand-Alone as your License Type. You can

get the Serial Number and the Product Key from
the inside cover of the DVD case.

4. In the Configuring Installation window, select the

products to install. Click Next to continue.

5. The Installaion Progress window will track your

progress and advance to the next screen when
finished.

6. Congratulations! You have finished installing

AutoCAD. Click Finish to exit the Installation
Wizard.

7. Activating AutoCAD.
The First time you launch AutoCAD you will be
prompted to activate the software.

8) You must agree to the Autodesk Privacy Policy.

Select the checkbox to indicate that you have read
the policy and click Continue.

9) Select Connect now to activate and click Next to

continue.

10) Congratulations! You have finished activating

AutoCAD. Click Finish to exit the Activation
Wizard.
