The internship opportunity I had with CBRE South Asia Pvt Ltd. was a great chance for
learning and professional development. Therefore, I consider myself as a very lucky
individual as I was provided with an opportunity to be a part of it. I am also grateful for

this internship period.

Bearing in mind previous I am using this opportunity to express my deepest gratitude and

1 Company Profile

1.2 History
The company was established by Tucker, Lynch & Coldwell on August 27, 1906. It was

company changed its name to CB Richard Ellis (CBRE).
In 1994, CBRE was the first international real estate services firm to set up an office in

across nine offices, with a presence in over 25 cities in India. The company changed its
name to CBRE Group, Inc. on October 3, 2011. This change was made to bring the formal

1.6 QUALITY POLICY

CBRE South Asia Pvt Ltd through its Project management department (PjM (India))
constantly endeavours to become the best Quality service provider in the field of Project
management consultancy within the framework of the business policies, the OHSE policy
and its RISE Values, by providing consultancy and support to the clients in managing the
Project from concept to commissioning and closure of the Project along the agreed Quality,
Cost and Timelines.

In the said endeavour PjM (India), acknowledges its responsibilities to implement the
Quality policy and endeavour to meet the requirements of the clients as per the agreed
scope of work. In doing so PjM (India) will abide by all statutory and regulatory laws
applicable to conducting of the business of CBRE. PjM (India) also recognizes the
necessities and importance of continual improvement in the effectiveness of the Quality
management system and work towards the same.

Towards the continual improving the Quality of service delivery to the clients and to keep
abreast of the industry requirements, the Committee appointed by the PjM (India), will
review, establish, modify or revise the Quality objectives during the annual review meeting.

The Committee will also conduct a biennial review of the Quality policy for its relevance
and suitability and forward its recommendations to the PjM (India), for necessary action.

1.7 EHS POLICY

The goal of CBRE in EHS is to promote and achieve occupationally healthy safe and
environment friendly management system for all their employees and others, based upon
sound practices and continual improvement of the same.

To achieve the above goal, PjM (India) commits to the following objectives

 Comply with all applicable legal and other requirements related to


occupational health, safety, and environmental aspects to which the
company subscribes.
 Provide the necessary resources, establish communication system and
task all employees with responsibility to achieve the objectives.
 Educate, Train and Motivate employees towards the implementation of
this policy and its continual improvement.
 Review the success of this policy and its implementation.

floor which contains MMR room, IDF/ MDF room, Micro kitchen, Cafeteria, Work station,

DSP Architects:
DSP Design Associates Pvt. Ltd. is the architectural firm associated with this project,
they are one of the largest & distinguished Architecture, Design & Master Planning
firms in the India. They take care of the Design, Aesthetics, Ergonomics and other
aspects related to design on site.

Turner and Townsend India:


T&T India is the cost consultant for the project. They help in optimising cost
performance at every stage of the project, preparing cost models and cost data. They
help to establish project viability with a clear, robust baseline.

ZSA Engineering services:


ZSA engineering services is the plumbing consultant for the project. They help to do
the plumbing work as per the tender specification of the project and they inspect the
quality of the plumbing at every stage of the project.

Electro consultants:
Electro consultants is the Electro consultant for the project. They help to do the
electrical work as per the tender specification of the project and they inspect the
quality of the electrical at every stage of the project.

PANASEA TECHNOLOGIES:
PANASEA TECHNOLOGIES PVT. LTD is the HVAC consultant for the project. They help
to do the HVAC work as per the tender specification of the project and they inspect
the quality of the HVAC work at every stage of the project.

Tyco India:
Tyco India provides Information Technology services and security devices for the
project. They ensure in providing CCTV cameras and Wi-Fi Routers in the workstation.

Innovation India:
Innovation India, Gurgaon is the Civil and Interior Contractor for the project. They
ensure in finishing and delivering the project as per given specifications from the
architects which is verified by CBRE project management team.

Litura:
Litura, Gurgaon is the Electrical Contractor for the project. They ensure in finishing
and delivering the Electrical works as per given specifications from the architects
which is verified by CBRE project management team.

DYNA Aircon:
Dyna Aircon, Gurgaon is the HVAC Contractor for the project. They ensure in finishing
and delivering the HVAC works as per given specifications from the architects which
is verified by CBRE project management team.

5 Weekly Progress
5.1 Week 01

 Preparation of Quality Tracker Report in Microsoft Excel with the given format by
the project manager.
 Keeping a track on the Quality issues, and instructing the contractor to close them.
 Preparation of Delay log and action tracker.
 Preparing Weekly Progress Report and Photographic report for the week.
 Issuing Site notice with respect to Safety issues and Quality issues.
 Inspecting labours on Safety aspects.
 Helping Project coordinator in verifying the reports of Fire Alarm System, HVAC
system, Smoke detector System.
 Checking of floor raceway marking works as per drawing.
