Topic: Brain Zones

Grade Level: 7th & 8th

Description:
The bulletin board goes along with my lesson for November. The students are learning about
the different brain zones and how they are affected by their own behavior. Each brain zone
represents a different emotion that relates to different behaviors. On the blank board to the
right of the brain will be an interactive word matching activity with another version of the
brain. This brain is smaller and will be hung lower so the students can interact with it more. The
activity involves matching the proper words with the proper zone and discussing why it pertains
to that zone.

Materials Used:
-poster paper
-colored paper
-paint
- laminator
-stapler
-velcro
