 We performed our first activity in Questioned Document Examination last September 5,

2018, the activity was Ink Chromatography. This activity consists of materials such as; different

black signpen, cups, filter paper, alcohol, scissors, pencils, ruler, strip from ransom note and ink

chromatography data handout. With the complete materials, I started to work on the given

activity and carefully followed the instructions in the handout. Step by step, until I performed

the activity and answered all the questioned ask on the sheet.

The second activity, the hand writing movement, performed last October 1, 2018. In this

exercise, I executed finger, hand, forearm and whole arm movements and the hand writing

movement under following speed: slow, moderate and fast. In this activity, I was partnered to

my classmate, not my seatmate, and followed the instruction that my partner must identify if

which is the fast, moderate and slow hand written. As we exchanged our works I identified the

hand writing of my partner whether slow, moderate or fast.

In our next laboratory, the basis of hand writing examination, performed last October 4,

2018. This activity was all about mastering in identifying the writer different styles and forms in

hand writing. I wrote a word/ sentence inside of each box which demonstrate the meaning of

the term written above the box.

The fourth laboratory was all about indented writing. This activity used magnifying glass,

pencil, flash light, and notebook. Before I examined my partner’s notepad, I predicted what

item will allow me to discover the intended writing based on the victim’s material and give

reason for making that choice.
