Dear Sir / Madam,

I’m writing in reference to the program of IO at the ITER Organization-Spring 2018 for Category B. I came
across the program details on https://www.iter.org/jobs/internships while working at Institute of Plasma
Research (IPR), India as Project Trainee.
I am delighted to find that my academic accomplishments meet all of the necessary requirements for the IO –
ITER program. I am seeking a challenging but rewarding internship, which is why I am drawn to this exciting
opportunity.

As a fourth year Engineering student majoring in Instrumentation and Control at the Gujarat University-India, I
have acquired skills in PLC Programming, TIA Portal, WinCC, Step7, Proteus, PCB Designing, PLC and
Process Instrumentation. Currently I hold a 7.2 CPI and have been participant of tech events every year. While
in the college of Engineering I have strategically focused my coursework in the following areas:
• Control System Design
• Electrical and Electronics Measurement
• Industrial Drives and Control
While working on a student project at ITER-India, I designed and simulated PID control loop for Cold
Temperature Compensation Box (CTCB) using my knowledge of the above. Also have designed HMI screens
and established its connection with PLCsim.

I am excited by the chance to contribute to your organization and am prepared to engage in continuous learning.
As described by the internship description, I would enjoy work assignments for the given subjects with IO –
ITER.
My enclosed resume expands on my coursework and Instrumentation and Control Skills. As I prepare for an
exciting career, I am eager to gain a more detailed understanding of the field by collaborating with an
