LUTZ, FL--- Laura Lynn Hardy, 19 was traveling on bike after having lunch with her

grandmother in Citrus Park on Thursday February 1st when she found a manila envelope on the

sidewalk. She picked up the envelope and finished her bike ride not opening it until she returned

home. To her surprise the envelope was filled with $300,000 in cash and checks made out to

Fenster Ford. As soon as she realized what she was in possession of Hardy called the bank and

then rode her bike back down to Citrus park and returned the envelope to the bank. When she

arrived Fred Fenster and the bank president were waiting for her. They shook her and hand and

thanked her for what she had done.

“She’s a great girl, the kind of girl we in Tampa are proud of,” Fenster said. “I would

like to offer her a $2,000 discount on a car to show my appreciation.”
