DEDICATION

This research is dedicated to God and to my parents for giving me the support when I
needed it the most; for my friends and professors for giving us advices and knowledge:
And to my ex who taught me on how to be a better person.
-Hanz Spencer

ABSTRACT

The study “Development of an Oil Filter Remover Designed for Small, Medium and

Large Vehicle” aims to help the mechanic to remove oil filter without hassle, and to

make the work effortless. This tool gives a hand around the casa. An oil filter wrench is

an essential piece of equipment that can be used during any maintenance or service

procedure. Because oil filters tend to accumulate grease and grime, it is almost

impossible to remove one without the correct tool. This project is an end cap wrench style

added with another socket on the side for its purpose when the mechanic is having

trouble reaching the main socket of the wrench. The mechanic may use an alternate way

which is the side socket, and determining different sizes of vehicles has its own

measurement with this oil filter remover. By evaluating, efficiency testing is applied to

know how efficient the change oil filter remover. It has been used by the automotive

experts and drivers to see how efficient it will be in the field. The second test of the

evaluation is for the test of acceptability. The respondents of the test are automotive

experts. This development concluded that the prototype is designed for resolving

problems in removing those oil filters and other maintenance of the vehicle. Evaluation

results, shows it goes well according to its concerted plan.
