April Happenings:

During the month of April we will continue to work hard on our reading, math, and
handwriting skills. Together we will learn many facts about the animal kingdom, and
work on many great projects. We also will learn about how plants grow and how to
care for them. We will do many spring activities like washing windows and dishes, so
you can have little helping hands at home. Most importantly though, we still have
fun being together as a class!

Special Person Day:

Special Person Day is coming and our children are going to host their special
someone on Monday, April 22nd. We have many wonderful activities planned for
this day!
Summer Camp:

Join us for our Summer Camp Fine Art Fun Camp! We are currently planning
exciting activities for our children in Preschool through Fifth Grade. The summer
our campers will go on many exciting field trips, participate in activities planned to
encourage imagination with unique treats, arts & crafts, and educational activities.
Enroll now to secure a place for your child in our fun and exciting summer program.

Please Practice:

Please keep practicing our sight words, writing in the journals, reading and math
(counting, addition, subtraction, story problems) with your children. This helps to
give our students a good start going into the First Grade!

Thank you to all of you for your continued support and for sending in the special
snacks and treats for our class. They truly enjoy all the variety and surprise each
day!

A very special thank you to everyone who came into class to read on Dr. Suess's
Birthday and to everyone who chaperoned on our field trip! A fun and scientific
time was had by all at the Michigan Science Center.
