About Us

Youthful.social is a social movement initiated by Indonesian

young people, focused on youth empowerment and social
contribution. We provide a platform for young people to
identify their potential, support them to develop interpersonal
skills, and encourage them to involve and contribute in society.
Youthful.social, founded in 2016, is also a platform to promote
the relationship of Indonesia and Australia through social media
and satellite event in 12 provinces. The platform started by
establishing website (http://youthful.social) and social media
(facebook fanpage, instagram, twitter and youtube) which has
been launched through various kinds of satellite events such as
seminar, talk show, workshop, art performance and youth
exhibition in 2016.

Our Upcoming Project

Empowomen, stands for empower women, is therefore designed to

provide youthful activities focusing on capacity building, project
management, and team building in 4-month program for young
women in Lampung. The selected young women who join this class
are going to be involved in youthful and supportive atmosphere for
developing personal capacity, leadership, practicing social project
and experiencing professional networking from both Indonesia and
Australia expertise correlated with social contribution and potentials
of collaboration among the participants, communities and partners.
During the four months, the participants will be provided great
chances to identify, share and develop their skills and knowledge, as
well as the participating mentors. As post –program activities, the
participants are supposed to implement their skill and knowledge into
possible social projects in their communities under supervision.

Back ground
In Lampung, only 23% of
parlemential member are
women. 
Total 43 youth communities,
only 6 out of 43 leaders are
women.
A high number of violence cases
 towards women (up to 1018
cases in 2015).

Objectives
GOALS Youthful.social and the people working on it are triggered to
plan and organize activities where young women in Lampung
Empowomen is can be facilitated to develop their potential to contribute to
the society.  Hence, to provide a space for Australian Program
