Project-Based Learning Reflection


Class in which you did the project: Advanced Farm to Table

Brief project description:

We staged a food festival in which we made food and sold it to visitors. We teamed up
with the business class and set up the event.

Your role for the project:

I served as a cook. Planner and designer

What did you do, personally, to contribute to the overall project? Be specific!

I made food for our group to sell, designed out logo, helped serve, and helped plan the
event.

What did you learn about yourself in terms of time management, personal responsibility,
problem-solving, collaboration, or other soft skills via this project?

I have learned that my teamwork skills have increased significantly from doing this event
and participating in this class. My time management has also improved because of the
time crunch that we had in the few days leading up to the event.

If you had an industry expert or mentor who assisted with this project, what are some things that
you learned from this person?

Ms. Bogner helped all of us with the event, she has taught us a lot of cooking skills as
well as collaboration skills.

How has this experience helped prepare you for college or careers beyond high school?
It has helped me because I aspire to be a baker, so the experience always helps.
