Dear Admission Officers,

I have been acquainted with Qixing Zhang since the year of 2016. She is one of
the most impressive students I have ever taught. On hearing that she is applying
for Music Education graduate course at your renowned university, I feel pleased
to share with you my opinion of her.

Ms Zhang went to two courses I taught, Introduction to Music Education and

Methodology, and The Methodology of Education Research in which she got excellent
score and 93 respectively in the assessment, ranking to top 5 among the 30
students.

In my classes, she could always participated in activities and discussions actively,

and always attempted to diverse teaching methods. I still remember once I asked
students to arrange body rhythm for Vivaldi’s four season, Spring 1st movement that
Ms Zhang’s performance’s impress me a lot. According the different musical
characteristics, she arranged appropriate body movements. Fox example, the
theme of first episode is full of vibrato, so she arrange the movement of the birds
chirping that is very effective for students could experience the musical
characteristic.

Personally, I have visited Hartt School of Music, University of Hartford many

times and very honored to study music methods from the dean of music
education department Dr Feierabend. When Ms Zhang came to me with the idea
of pursuing her further education in American, I gave her my full support. I am
well aware that such experience will broaden her knowledge in music education
and develop her skills of teaching music. I believe that with an education from
your school, Ms Zhang will become a qualified music educator in the future.
