Old logo
The name "Cisco" was derived from the city name San Francisco, which is why the company's
engineers insisted on using the lower case "cisco" in its early years. The logo is intended to
depict the two towers of the Golden Gate Bridge
New Logo
Cisco's new logo has a more modern shape, rich in color with circles forming the world.
This new logo is a reflection of the new "brand value" which came to be called "Life in Touch".
- The circle shape of the logo symbolizes the integrity of Cisco's international space movement.
- Dark blue and light blue and greenish gradations symbolize high-tech and advanced
networking technologies that continue to grow in a glorious future.
- Thick and curved lines that impress the regular meeting motion depict the nature of
continuous and dynamic communication and co-operation.
- The CISCO writing uses the letters Neuzeit S LT, which describes the company's network
position and technology communication as the Flag Guide of the Cisco System (Cisco)
