On-going Research - Background


 Demands for efficient and effective present
challenges for organization heavy with bureaucracy
such as government agencies. Innovation to deliver
management of quality of life program is needed to
meet these demands because it can bring productive
change to the way business is done (S. G. Winistofer
1996).
 Local government such as the City of El Paso is
facing the same challenges in delivering its quality

On-going Research – Problem
Statement
The problem to be addressed in this research is how
to reduce project delivery time and construction
change order due to poor quality control during
planning and design phases of project development
and consequently improve project delivery capacity.

On-going Research – Objective


The main objectives of this research study are:
 To develop a model in order to integrate quality
control practices throughout planning and design
processes by establishing quality control
indicators.
 To formulate a project delivery process model
that will enhanced project delivery method and
ensure quality project delivery.
