My name is Jenrry Llamoctanta Rios and I am a fourth year student at Private University
of the North. I am currently pursuing a five-year Bachelor of Management and
International Business Degree and planning to make an academic term in Canada.

The idea about making attempt to get a scholarship to study in Canada has been in my
eye since I have got to the university and after visited Canada, while working for cruise
line company as a waiter a couple of years ago. I discovered a great, quiet and
multicultural nation full of opportunities for students who cannot economically afford their
studies on their own, but who are capable enough to excel and success in life.

Besides personal interests, social spheres plays an important roll too. In my opinion, the
main gain for a student of management who get a scholarship should not be the studies
itself. In addition to the enriching experience that this academic opportunity could be for
a future professional, we also can realize about different ways of living, other habits at
work, distinct employee needs or behavior and how people, entrepreneur and companies
manage a business, treat their staff and lead a company. I consider that new disciplines
such as organization development is taking on more and more importance due to the
new trends in management. makes a detached way of view on the society is from the
point of view of employer and employee as well. It can differ completely from the manner
a business is managed or employees are lead in Latin America. Getting to understand
this new tendency, the great importance and roll that the employee plays in a work
environment is the key for becoming a competitive manager in a labor market that
requires higher qualified workforce.

I would like to get new skills on this field and this is an ideal way for my knowledge to be
widen, besides the financial support. I believe I could be a benefit for the other students,
for my future coworkers and for my group of work in my own company. It depends on the
level of the contact with them. And I believe that the kindness will make my wish come
true.
