Greetings!

Our subject Sports, Physical Education and Recreation or SPEAR 290 (Seminar in
SPEAR) will be conducting an ENHANCEMENT ON VOLLEYBALL OFFICIATING: A Seminar-
Workshop. The activity aims to enhance the officiating skills of the referees; to update the
Teachers’ and Coaches’ knowledge and competence in officiating the game, and to promote
leadership through officiating the sport. This is an opportunity for Teachers and Coaches to
learn and develop leadership in the field of officiating sport and in other aspects of life. Thus,
officiating contributes big in leading our athletes, students and citizens in success.

In relation to this, we are cordially inviting you to be our guest speaker and share your
expertise about “LEADERSHIP IN OFFICIATING SPORTS” on May 4, 2019 at St.
Michael’s College Gymnasium from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Attached herewith is the program of
the activity.
