Firstly, I opened up a Photoshop document and made it the size I wanted.

I
then found two images, one of a model, who would be my main subject, the
second was of an organic background, which was of Lugano in the Spring. There
were many elements of nature, flowers, trees, etc.

I pasted the background on a new layer, and made sure to put that before my
subjects layers, so that the subject was in front of the organic background. I
then desaturated both the background and subject. I then adjusted the tones
of the subjects images, to create more of a contrast, and essentially get better
results.

My next step was to turn the subjects face into a sticker. I did this by going to
edit, and pressing define brush present. This turned the photo of her into a
sticker.

Originally I struggled to find the sticker of her, as there was not enough con-
trast, as her faces tones when desaturated where not very distinguishable. I
adjusted the tones to get more variation, a darker shadow, and a brighter high-
light.

I then hide the subjects layer, and went to the background layer, that I masked.
I selected it, then went to the stickers, that were coloured white, and then
drew the sticker on the background.
