Second Annual Creative Arts Club Contest – Spring 2019

The Creative Arts Club of Beder University is pleased to invite all students of the university to submit
an English language original poem, short story, or painting.
 No length requirement for poems or short stories;
 You may submit one work for each genre;
 Submission deadline: May 1, 2019;
 Every student will receive a certificate of participation and winning entries will be published on
the Creative Arts Club Beder University link;
 We will announce the time and place of the awards ceremony.

Awards for Best Original Poems and Short Stories:

Bachelor Students:
 First Place: 10.000 Lek
 Second Place: 7.500 Lek
 Third Place: 5.000 Lek
Master Students:
 First Place: 10.000 Lek

Awards for the Best Painting:

 1st Place 5.000 Lek

Submit your entries electronically: creativeclub@beder.edu.al (email subject: Creative Arts Contest):
Poetry and Short Story:
 Word.doc format: Arial, 12pt font, double-spaced;
 Word.doc title: example: “Elsuida Hoxhaj - The Unborn Child”
 NB: On a separate last page (only) of your document you will include:
 Name;
 Genre and title of entry;
 Year in school;
 Department;
 Email address and phone number.
Painting:
 Submit a jpeg of your entry;
 Jpeg title; example: “Sunflowers” – NB: only the title of your entry.
 NB: You will also submit a word.doc which will include this information:
o Name;
o Genre and title of entry;
o Year in school;
o Department and study;
o Email address and phone number.

NB: Late entries will not be accepted for consideration.
