DESCRIPTION
Essay writing is not just a method of academic assessment, but also an art. It not only requires st
orytelling skills but also the presentation of a story. With our essay writing contest known as SP
EEssayContest, we want to discover essay writing talent from the student community, this acts as
a ticket to the top 10 winners to attend the 2018 career enhancement symposium and gain recog
nition from the invited guests and gain courage.

This essay writing contest will run till 20 October 2018 where we will be announcing the 10 win
ners. So participate in our essay writing contest to win a free ticket for the event which will be he
ld at Kisenga hall on the 17th November 2018, for the top 10 winners.

The admission of this contest is free.

ESSAY TOPICS

1. Building a secure energy future.

2. Protecting the environment against pollution.
3. Emerging opportunities of energy development in the country.
4. Current state of Tanzania energy sector.

RULES

 Choosing more than one topic is not allowed. More than one submission isn’t allowed.
 Language for essay will be English only.
 The decision of the judges of SPEEssayContest will be final and binding.
 All essays should be in pdf format.

ESSAY CONTENT

 Word limit should be between 500-800 words.

 The essay should be in perfect English language.
 Use active voice, multiple paragraphs to make it readable and add pictures where
necessary.
