Writing, Tech, and Design Competitions for ITL Public School's

Newspaper!
ITL Public School is excited to announce the launch of the school newspaper. We invite all students from
classes 6-12 to contribute their ideas, stories, opinions, and puzzles. To ensure a diverse representation, each
class will have a representative-cum-editor. Students in classes 9th-12th will be selected through a writing
competition, providing a chance for all interested students to showcase their writing skills. Additionally, we
are seeking students with a flair for designing and editing to contribute to the newspaper.
All students in classes 9-12 are eligible to participate.

FOR WRITERS:
1. Stories or articles should be between 500 - 750 words on any theme.
2. Submissions should be typed in Times New Roman, font size 12, and submitted in PDF format.
Please include the participant's name, grade, and contact information.
3. Each participant is allowed to submit only one entry.
4. Plagiarism of any kind will lead to disqualification.
5. Stories/articles should be suitable for all audiences and must not contain any offensive or
discriminatory content. Such content may lead to disqualification.
6. We recommend proofreading and editing your work before submitting the final version.
7. Any piece exceeding the word limit will not be considered for judging.
8. Late submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances.
9. Judging Criteria:
a. Creativity and Originality
b. Writing Style and Language
c. Theme Exploration
d. Structure
e. Clarity and Impact

FOR TECH-cum-DESIGNERS:
1. Any poster or art work made by you, digital or otherwise, can be submitted.
2. You can submit a maximum of three entries, sent together.
3. You must have a strong proficiency in graphic design software and editing tools.

Submission Deadline: Email your entry as a PDF attachment to itleditorial@gmail.com no later than
July 15th, 2023. Your subject line should entail the post you are applying for.
